Illo Friday - Tango!

I know I haven't been doing these very regularly but when I saw this week's prompt I couldn't resist.

Ironically, tango is Syd's least. favorite. dance. EVER. And it is not super high on my list of favorite dances, although oddly enough I really love paso doble. Go figure.

Yeah I kind of think now you should be able to see her other foot. o.0 Oh well.

Illo Friday - Flawed

I had a lot of trouble coming up with one for this week's prompt. "Flawed". >.< Finally, I ended up with something that programmers end up concluding - the logic is flawed. :P And then into the mix I threw the thought (actually had a discussion about this) that in the movies, monsters inevitably have a chance to eat people or whatever very easily, but they always wait until the person realizes there is a monster (instead of ignoring it or thinking that it is someone playing a prank). I know this is to create suspense, but it is still kind of odd. So...poor Jimmy doesn't live in the movies where monsters only believe in you if you believe in them!

Am I slightly morbid? My people always DIE. lol Oh well...c'est la vie.

Illo Friday - Climbing

No..I've never even been to NYC, but an awful lot of exciting things sure do happen there if you believe the movies!

Okay, so this is my illustration for this week's prompt, "Climbing". The question is supposed to be something a little kid would ask, and I was going for a very simple, very cartoony child-book-illustration-like drawing. I spent a lot of the afternoon doing a comic for my brother so that took all of my artistic juice. :P Or something. I didn't even come up with a good idea for this prompt until this morning. Next week I think I will have to do something non-digital. Maybe I should have done this one non-digital. Oh well.

Illo Friday - pale

What is more pale than Snow White? "Hair black as ebony, lips red as the rose, skin white as snow..."

Pretty happy with the expression, less happy with the bangs. Sigh.

Illustration Friday challenge for 1/9/09..."Contained". I know she has anatomical problems (don't look at her left hand...just don't), and the coloring is very flat, but that is partly because I wanted it to look that way, and partly because I was too lazy to fix things (like her hand >.<). Hey, I have a migraine...you know, these things happen. Sigh.

So this is the first IlloFri challenge thingy I have done in a realllllllly long time but I am going to try to do them every week this year. Try. Probably will not succeed, but I will try.
